The second annual Microsoft Lync Conference will be taking place in Las Vegas next week, but as it has been sold out for some time if you didn’t already know about it then odds are it is too late to get in now. But for those who already have planned to attend there are a number of sessions which may be of interest to the followers of this blog.
I will be presenting a video-focused session entitled “Video – What in the World are You Doing to My Network” which will be delivered on two separate occasions. The majority of this content is brand-new material created for this session but for any attendees of past Lync Users Group meetings throughout North America a few of slides may look familiar
My first session will be presented (in the Copperleaf 12 meeting room) right after the opening keynote on Tuesday morning, so come on by if you can. I will also be fielding any additional questions immediately after the session, as well as spending time in both the Polycom booth right near the Expo center entrance and Lync Users Group booth in the central Microsoft Pavilion.
Sessions
There are no less than 17 sessions in the topic of Voice and just a few more than that which include some level of content around the video experience in Lync. For video related sessions the following tables can help you decide which events maybe of the most interest to add to your schedule. Please keep in mind that the dates and times for these events could potentially change and this post will most likely not be updated to reflect any changes if they do happen. Make sure to confirm any events you have selected on the official Sessions page. All sessions are 75 minutes long.
Updated 5/8/2014 – Now that the recordings have been made available to the general public by Microsoft each of the video-related sessions listed below now also include a link to the recordings hosted on Microsoft’s MSDN Channel9 events site. The session codes in the last column contain the links to each recording.
