The Chicago UC Users Group will be conducting their next meeting January 24th, 2013. Lync Server 2013 introduces new high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) procedures. Understanding how to identify business requirements for HA and DR, and then executing a proper design to meet those requirements is critical. This topic will be presented by Keenan Crockett, a Senior Solution Architect with Perficient who will cover the new HA and DR features in Lync Server 2013, and provide details on key design decisions and procedures for HA and DR.

Additionally, I will present an overview of the Persistent Chat (formally Group Chat) capabilities that have been introduced in Lync Server 2013 and the Lync 2013 client.

Industry Experts will be on site to deliver this presentation and help answer any questions related to Lync Server.

Attend any Lync Users Group Event across the nation in January, and you will be automatically entered to win a Microsoft Surface RT! Must attend in person, and must complete your survey for entry. Random winner will be drawn February 1 2013.
