The next round of quarterly Skype for Business Users Group meetings has been announced and scheduled starting this month.

Event Details

This quarter’s events will be conducted in our familiar two-session format:

Our main presentation will be “An Introduction to Enterprise Voice”.  In this presentation, you will learn about the basic features of Enterprise Voice. What exactly is it and how does it work? You will also learn the differences in features between using Enterprise Voice hosted on premise or via Office 365.

The second session will host an open discussion among the group members.

Industry Experts will be on-site to deliver these presentations and help answer any questions related to Skype for Business.  Food, beverages and additional door prizes will be provided courtesy of the Skype for Business Users Group and its official sponsors.

Chicago Event

As usual I will be hosting the Chicago event, but has returned to our original location at the Microsoft Technology Center in downtown Chicago.  The current plan is to alternate locations each quarter between the two Microsoft offices in the region.

Food will be ready at 5:30 so come early if you can to spend time socializing with the group before the presentations begin at 6:00.

  1. Hi Jeff,
    We’ve ordered few telephone set (Polycom CX700) whose are come with very old firmware. We are now going to upgrade them to latest firmware. But it requires KB972640 in the upgrading process which is now can not be download from Microsoft anymore. Do you have that executable on hand or in your archive library?

  2. Jeff I was hoping that maybe I could get some help from you. I can not get auto discover to work at all. When I am on the network SFB will connect fine, off it will not when trying to start the connection initially. If you connect then go to LTE it will connect however. I don’t get what I have wrong.
