The third event of year’s quarterly Lync Users Group meetings has been scheduled and announced for July.
Presentations will be provided on the following two topics:
SIP Academy (Presented by Audio Codes)
- This session will include what SIP is, how is SIP used within Microsoft Lync, and a walk-through of many SIP messages you see within logging.
Lync as a PBX Replacement
- This session will cover Lync as a PBX replacement including a number of co-existence and migration scenarios and a real life solution review with local members who have successfully made the leap to Lync as a PBX replacement and UC Platform.
The list of scheduled events is provided below with a link to each regional group’s Meetup page. To sign-up for any event simply create a Meetup account if you do not already have one and then confirm your attendance on the event page.

As usual I will be hosting the Chicago area event, hope to see you there. Please remember to remove your RSVP within 48 hours of the event if you know that you cannot attend so that we do not purchase too much food.
Jeff,_How do we go about setting up a Users Group in Charlotte, NC? There is a very big MS campus here, so there should be quite a presence.
Sean, I just emailed you directly on this.
hi Jeff
Yet there is no chance for Remote Attending on Meetings !?
hope to have the Chance
Sorry, we are recording some meeting now for future playback but as of yet have not coordinated any on-line streaming of the meetings. It is something we are looking into for future meetings.
We are standing up a MS Users group at the next ACUTA conference – I am looking for round table discussion topics, idea's that you use at your Users groups to get groups visiting about their deployments, pro's, con's, etc.
